More multi-coloured shapes and updated shape libraries

Last year, the first few shape libraries were updated to support multi-coloured shape styles. Now, all shape libraries that contain similarly complex shapes have been edited and updated where possible to support multi-coloured styles.
The updated Mockups and AWS 3D shape libraries allow you to customise multi-colour shapes

The following categorised shape libraries have been updated with shapes where you can set multiple fill colours:

  • Standard: Flowchart
  • Software: Mockup, Bootstrap, Salesforce, Android, Atlassian, iOS
  • Networking: AWS 3D, Network 2025, Cisco, Citrix, GCP (Google Cloud), Office, Rack, Veeam, IBM
  • Other: EIP, Floorplan

For shapes that can have multiple fill colours, you can set these individually in the Style tab of the format panel.

In the example below, the Salesforce shopping cart shapes have been reversed from their default colours (white icons on a dark background) to be a black cart on a light green background.

It was a long and manual task to update all of the shapes in the shapes library. We hope you enjoy using multiple fill colours.

Tip: For increased visual impact using the multi-coloured shapes, the Network 2025 shape library has customisable shadows, as seen in the simple home lab below.

Updated AWS shape libraries to 2026 notation​

Click More Shapes at the bottom of the shapes panel to open all of the shape libraries.

The AWS 2026 shape library has been updated with new shapes to match Amazon's recommended notation.

Within the AWS 2026 shape library, these sub-categories have had the largest changes.

  • Many new shapes: General Resources, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Financial Management, Internet of things, Management and Governance, and Storage.
  • Altered colours: Customer Enablement, Database, Developer Tools and Satellite.

With multi-colour support for the 3D AWS shapes, you can draw some rather pretty AWS infrastructure diagrams.
